Coinciding with Ei’s introduction of its Connected Home Solution to the Irish market, the Company has announced a partnership with the Air Quality Matters Podcast.  https://www.airqualitymatters.net/podcast.

The Podcast talks to leaders across the world and across various sectors to discuss one of the most important environmental risks we face; from housing to the workplace, education to healthcare, the quality of the air we breathe impacts us all. Our built environment is playing catch up and innovation is occurring everywhere.

The Podcast is hosted by Simon Jones who has over 20 years of experience within the Housing, Construction, and Building Services Sector.  Commenting on the partnership, Ei Group Marketing Manager Peter Murphy said;  “Air Quality Matters is a natural fit for us. Simon is passionate about indoor air quality and the impacts of good ventilation. A strong advocate for better standards and improved outcomes in the sector.”

Simon Jones added; “The Air Quality Matters Podcast is all about the impact our indoor environment has on everything we care about. Ei Electronics gets this. For decades, they have been at the cutting edge of life safety systems and with the addition of their connected home solutions, are at the forefront of making the invisible visible for both landlords and tenants in housing.”

Maureen Kelly-Hardiman, Business Development Executive – Connected Home with Ei added; “A key benefit for us is that Air Quality Matters operates with full editorial independence, ensuring their conversations remain unbiased and evidence-based. They are committed to bringing their audience the truth about the air we breathe in an accessible format. As we roll out our offering to local Government and Approved Housing Boards this partnership will assist in delivering evidence-based information to our customers”.

The latest Ireland related podcast Beyond Grants and Targets: The Human Side of Retrofitting features a conversation with Ciaran Byrne, Director of National Retrofit, and Brian McIntyre, Program Manager for High Performance Building Technologies at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). It explores a question that fundamentally challenges how we think about decarbonising the built environment:  View here https://www.youtube.com/@airqualitymatters-SimonJones

The Ei Electronics Connected Home Solution combines connected alarms and environmental sensors, wireless interconnection, remote monitoring and management functionality. Together, these technologies support safer and healthier homes by providing for proactive maintenance, live alarm dashboards, and audit ready reports for compliance. They also enable housing providers and property managers to more efficiently oversee and manage installed systems across their housing stock.
