The Ei225EN is a mains powered Carbon Monoxide Alarm fitted with a high performance, proven electrochemical sensor to detect the presence of toxic levels of Carbon Monoxide (CO). Each sensor is individually calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide gas to ensure accuracy.
When the Alarm detects potentially dangerous levels of CO, the red LED flashes and if the CO persists the alarm will sound. The rate of flashing of the red LED indicates the level of CO. The higher the level of CO detected, the sooner the alarm will sound.
The Alarm self-checks its sensor and internal circuitry regularly. Any fault condition will be indicated by a combination of visual and/or audible indicators (ie yellow flashes and beeps).
The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (as the red LED will continue to flash for 24hrs after the event or afterwards when you press the Test button).
The Test/Silence button allows the user to check the operation of the Alarm. This will check the sounder, sensor and internal circuitry.
